You are invited to submit a paper for inclusion in a special issue titled Literature and the Arts in Mathematics Education in EURASIA Journal of Mathematics, Science and Technology Education (http://iserjournals.com/journals/eurasia).

Desired submissions include articles by teachers (K-12 and preschool), university professors of mathematics and math educators who have successfully crafted innovative ideas for stimulating and teaching fertile minds in the excitement of mathematics through literary and artistic tools such as stories, plays, art, games, poems, etc. A brief internet search will convince anyone that current educators are using a wide variety of such approaches aimed at the advancement of mathematical education, both in independent study and in the classroom.

This Special Issue will provide a platform for creative educators to present new thinking in this important area.

Submitters should first send an abstract of their paper to either the Lead Guest Editor or the Co-Guest Editor by email, including the title and authors of the paper. Authoring guidelines will be e-mailed to submitters if and when a paper is accepted for publication.

Submission deadline: October 15, 2017

Please note that you have to send your full paper to jerfarlow@gmail.com via e-mail.
